Get exclusive STLs with the new Warfulcrum Patreon
We’re relaunching the Warfulcrum Games Patreon with an exciting series of ongoing rewards for subscribers. You’ll get at least four exclusive STLs every year, as well as a series of other exciting rewards for fans of 1918 and Warfulcrum Games.
Subscribers at the Sergeant or Lieutenant tiers (£4 or £8 per month, respectively) will receive a characterful, high-quality STL every quarter, which we have christened the Collector’s Series. Collector’s Series #1, which is ready to ship, is a menacing German Stossetruppe (stormtrooper), the design of which draws on an excellent archival photograph.

Subscribers at these tiers also gain access to one larger STL or set of STLs, such as a vehicle or vignette, every year - which we have dubbed the Valour Series. The Valour Series will showcase some of the stranger battlefield sights of the Great War and offer subscribers exciting modelling and painting opportunities.
At the same time, we’re going to relaunch our Discord and make it readily available for anyone who wants to join. We want to encourage conversation, show off everyone’s painting, add battle reports and even coordinate games between fans. You can sign up to join our Discord here - existing members will see that it’s been redesigned.

Sergeant subscribers will receive only the STLs. Meanwhile, Lieutenants will earn a range of other benefits, including playtesting materials, the opportunity to make suggestions to the devs in a private Discord channel, and the ability to vote on forthcoming subscription STLs. This is the best tier for people who want to show us ongoing support as we grow.
There’s also a £1 tier - Private - which is there for people who want to show their support, subscribe and stay in touch. We also invite free subscriptions - we’re glad to have you along for the ride.
The STLs released on Patreon will be exclusive for at least 18 months. They’ll be soldier-sized (for the most part), filled with character and historical detail, and are likely to include alternate sculpts for officers and specialists, famous real-life Great War personalities, war animals, or non-combat personnel such as nurses, chaplains or despatch riders. We intend that each will be a fun painting project and provide your WW1 collection with a unique or fun twist.
Our Lieutenants will be able to steer us in this with periodic votes, which is very exciting. The larger STLs may be anything from a mobile carrier pigeon loft (yes that is a thing) to a downed biplane and injured pilot or a wrecked tank - we’re keen to see where it leads.
Much more to come from 1918
We’ve had a Patreon account for years - ever since we first started making this game in earnest. At the start, it was a really useful way to help us gauge interest in 1918, support the costs of software subscriptions and help build the miniatures range. As we’ve grown into a proper business, however, the rewards for subscribers have become less and less relevant and needed an update.
The eagle-eyed among you will have noticed that we’ve taken the decision to remove our main range of STLs from sale, and in this context the current Patreon offer, which mainly provides discounts on our STL range, simply doesn’t work any more.
The new Patreon will be open to all, and we’d love for new people to join - we really believe that subscribers will get a lot out of it, and we have some exciting plans for forthcoming miniatures. We’d obviously love our existing patrons to stay with us, though there will be no hard feelings if you decide it’s no longer for you. We’ve sent you guys a separate message to discuss your options. Either way, thank you so much for your support for 1918 so far.
The new Patreon is live now - it can be found at the same place as the existing one, which is here. You can find the Discord invite here.
