European Shipping Update

EU customers will have noticed by now that we’re not currently offering shipping to the continent. 

This is unfortunately totally out of our hands. Recent EU shipping regulation has made it virtually impossible for UK small businesses to ship to the EU - and everyone else is in the same boat. In fact there are basically no orders from small businesses moving into and out of the EU, or between EU members, at the moment, from us or anyone else.

Recent noises from the EU Commission signal they are looking for a more pragmatic solution, but this will probably take a long time. In the meantime, we are actively looking for solutions. 

The EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) came into force in August, and it requires businesses to pay for a packaging representative in every EU country they sell to. This is unaffordable if we have only a few customers in each country, but if we get enough people in a particular country who want to buy something, things might change.

We are therefore asking our European fans who want to buy something to get in touch at warfulcrumgames@gmail.com. Let us know what you want to buy and where you’re based, and once we have enough potential customers, we can look into getting a representative in that particular country. Or maybe one of us will take a holiday there with an extra-large suitcase…

Please bear with us while we sort this out. The Great War was obviously a very European affair- for the most part - and we’d dearly love our fans across the continent to be able to play 1918. Hopefully they will again!
