Trenches are one of the most enduring legacies of the First World War. Beginning in 1914, these defensive emplacements began as little more than just a muddy slit-trench, but as the war progressed on the Western Front, these became more elaborate, with dugouts, fire steps and emplacements, placed in a zig-zag pattern stretching for miles and miles. By 1918, trenches had withstood almost all of the ferocious tools of war deployed by the warring nations, and defence-in-depth tactics had further enhanced their use. 
 
This set contains four FDM-printed entrance sections for our modular trench section, designed to fit any of the other sections in the range.
Our modular trenches are scaled for 28mm wargaming and can accomodate bases up to 40mm wide. While designed for 1918 and WW1 wargaming, our trenches would work for any battlefield, from the grimdark mud to the far future.
