Product Description:
The primary machine gun of the British Army during the First World War was the indefatigable Vickers. Renowned for its exceptional reliability, the Vickers was capable of delivering sustained fire for extended periods. In one remarkable instance at High Wood in 1916, a company of machine gunners reportedly fired continuously for twelve hours, expending hundreds of thousands of rounds without a single significant stoppage, only pausing to change barrels and water (with whatever liquids they could find on hand).
